Dr Eric Ang Boon Kuang had his undergraduate medical education in Universiti Malaya, and subsequently worked in various districts in the states of Kelantan and Sarawak, Malaysia. After obtaining his MRCPCH (UK), he went on to subspecialize in Neonatology and did his training in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan; Hospital Kuala Lumpur and University of Toronto, Canada. Since then, he has worked as a Neonatologist and Head of NICU in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia. He currently also heads the sub-committee for Neonatal Resuscitation Training in the National Committee of Resuscitation Training (NCORT) and Perinatal Society of Malaysia (PSM), and co-chairperson for the steering committee of the Malaysian National Neonatal Registry (MNNR).
